Idealspain stumbled over this wonderful village in Asturias in July 2013 as part of our northern Spain tour. Villages such as this can only be discovered if you wander off the main motorway and follow the tiny coast roads. Our large motorhome only just fitted down some of the lanes.

Quinteles features a series of beaches. One of the finest in the area is the Playa de la Nora. The cove shaped beach is accessed via a steep downward road. There's a car park and bar half way down.
The beach (tidal), has a rocky backdrop and small pools created by the outward tide. It makes it an interesting beach. It also has fine, clean sand. |

We made an extensive visit to Asturias in 2003 and mainly explored inland. In July 2013 we returned to Asturias as part of our northern tour. We took our motorhome along the coast from Cantabria to Galicia.
