| Largely due to the arrival of Ryanair the passenger traffic at Valladolid has grown from just 195,000 passengers in 2001 to just over 467,000 in 2006. Over 11,500 flights were handled here last year. Valladolid is the capital city of the Castile Leon area and the airport is around 10 kilometres outside of the City centre. |
