Taxis
can
be
found
directly
outside
the
terminal
building,
as
can
the
bus
stop
for
buses
to
the
city
centre.
The
airport
is
next
to
the
border
with
Spain,
just
a
short walk
away.
If
you
are
entering
Spain
and
require
a
taxi,
you
need
to
walk
over
the
border
and
take
a
Spanish
taxi
as
Gibraltar
taxis
are
not
allowed
to
enter
Spain and Spanish taxis cannot enter Gibraltar.
The bus to the town centre leaves from oposite the airport. Leave the terminal building and cross the road. The bus fare is just £1. There are also open top buses and small minibuses that offer trips around Gibraltar. If you have time, take the Rock Tour in a minibus.
Route 3 - From Gibraltar Airport Terminal to Europa Point
Services run from Monday to Friday 06.25 to 2.100 every 15 minutes: Saturdays 06.30 to 21.00 every 20 minutes: Sundays 08.00 to 21.00 every 30 minutes.
Route 9 - Airport Terminal to Market Place
Services run from Monday to Friday 07.00 to 21.00 every 10 minutes: Saturdays 07.00 to 21.00 every 15 minutes: Sundays 09.00 to 21.00 every 30 minutes
Route 10 - Airport Terminal to Europort
This service is run by Calypso uses red London Double Decker buses. The buses run from Monday to Friday 08.15 to 20.00 every 15 minutes: Saturdays 08.40 to 19.20 every 30 minutes : Sundays 09.45 to 18.00 shuttle service.
Currently just one terminal at Gibraltar airport but this will change when the new building is completed. The terminal is located a two minute walk from the border with Spain.
The
airport
is
small
by
comparison
to
most
but
has
a
shop
and
an
information
centre. It is only a few minutes walk to the centre of Gibraltar if you need anything else. All this will change when the new terminal opens and new facilities are included.

Gibraltar airport is well served by Monarch Airlines who have several flights each week to the UK. Easyjet also fly to and from the UK.
