Foz is a coastal port town in Galicia, on the northern coast of Spain. Idealspain visited Foz in July 2013 as part of our northern Spain tour.

Foz is situated on the Rio Centino that runs into the port. Foz, indeed the whole part of this coast has some superb beaches. The main beach in Foz is the Playa Rapadoira. There's asmaller beach (much smaller), the Playa de Tupide. |

| Foz is a reasonably small town that spreads away from the port area. Most of Foz is relatively modern although it has always survived on fishing and the tinning of fish. |

| The tourist office is located near the port and should be your first stop for a town plan. You will find ample parking in this area too. The tourist office also houses a collection of interesting old photographs of Foz, illustrating the fishing trade that has existed here for many years. |
