Climate in Palencia
The region of Palencia has a Continental Medierranean climate with very cool winters due to it's altitude. The winters can include very cold winds, snow and temperatures well below zero. The Carrion River is the cause of many thick fogs in Palencia. In the summer, the climate is mild and warm but nights tend to be much cooler than average. Most rain falls in Autumn and Spring and although not over heavy, it can be frequent. |
