Taxis are readily available at Menorca airport and the taxi rank is situated outside of the main doors of the terminal. The taxi fares are quite reasonable and there are usually additional charges for luggage. A taxi to Mahon will cost around 10 Euros and a taxi to Ciutadella, on the other side of the island will cost around 50 Euros
The public transport connections at Mahon Airport are fairly limited, although a good bus service is available. Buses provide an inexpensive way to travel into the city and other nearby locations.
Buses to and from Mahón city centre leave every 30 minutes Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 19:00 (then hourly until 22:40). On weekends and holidays, buses run hourly from 6:00 to 22:40. The one-way fare is €1.50.
Menorca airport has 16 gates linked by jetway to the main terminal building, and in the year to June 2006 it had handled 961,695 passengers and 12,870 movements. In total, the airport serves 35 cities and 36 airports in 4 countries (on scheduled flights). Receiving operations from 48 airlines (of which 20 are scheduled operators (at July 2006).
The airport information desk (tel: (902) 404 704) is located centrally on the first floor of the terminal building. Consell Insular (regional government) has a tourist information desk (tel: (971) 157 115) in the arrival hall (ground floor). There are no conference or business facilities at the airport. The Hotel Capri in Mahon (tel: (971) 361 400) has conference and meeting rooms. There are ATMs and a bank in the terminal building. The terminal building houses four bars and cafeterias as well as three restaurants and in addition to the duty-free shop, which sells perfumes, tobacco, food and drink products and much more, there is the Divers shop offering gift items, books, stationery and Menorca handcrafts, a pharmacy, a footwear shop, a jewellery shop, a newsagent selling books, magazines and gift items, and a shop that specialises in sweets, chocolates and dried fruits.

Facilities for Disabled Travelers
Menorca airport is adapted to make it easier for disabled people to use the premises. There are 6 specially designated parking spaces in the car park (four in P-1 and two in P-2), there are specially adapted toilets throughout the terminal, there is a lift that provides access to the restaurant and the offices, another to the boarding gates on the first floor and an outside panoramic lift that provides access to the departures floor, there are access ramps and adapted telephone booths, and wheelchairs and special vehicles for passenger boarding and disembarking are available. The information services have leaflets related to services for the disabled and information on passenger rights in Braille.

Short stay car park, all or part of the first 30 minutes is free. Following this a charge per minute applies. Maximum daily rate is €8.50 for the first 4 days, thereafter €6.80 per day. Capacity for 495 vehicles.
The long stay car park can hold 464 vehicles. €8.50 per day for the first 4 days, thereafter €3.40 per day.
