Granada Airport is located about 16km west of Granada in the small town of Santa Fe. It is a modern airport with all manner of facilities. It is managed by the Spanish airport authority, AENA.
The terminal building
It measures 4,600 square metres and can cater for 600 passenger arrivals per hour and 550 departures per hour. There are two arrival areas, three boarding gates and a V.I.P room. There is a good shop and an efficient bar-restaurant. AENA have an office in the main hall alongside several airlines and car hire companies.

run
to
Granada
daily
at
9.05:10.30:11.35:12.05:15.35:16.05:17.35:18.45:19.05
some
of
these
times
are
only
available
certain

Ticket
price
is
currently
around
3€.
Flights
Flights
to
and
from
Barcelona,
Madrid,
Melilla
and
several
times
a
week
from
Palma
Mallorca,
Valencia
and
Tenerife.
Technical

The
airport
runway
is
2,900m
long
and
45m
wide.
Aircraft
parking
is
available
for
5
aircraft
such
as
737's
and
space
for
14
small
aircraft
of
15-20
metres.

Arriving
by
car
The
airport
is
easy
to
get
to,
using
the
main
A92
motorway
that
runs
from
Seville
to
Granada.
From
Malaga,
follow
the
N331
then
A359
which
meets
the
A92
near
Loja.
Upon
arrival
at
the
airport,
there
is
a
car
park
for
347
vehicles
right
outside
the
terminal
building.
Parking
charges
are:
up
to
30
minutes,
free,
after
that
from
1.5€.
A
24
hour
pass
and
a
monthly
pass
are
available.
The
car
park
is
open
7.30am
-
9.30pm.
Taxis
There
is
a
taxi
rank
next
to
the
terminal
building.
Taxis
are
of
a
very
high
standard
and
reasonably
priced.
Car
Hire
There
are
several
leading
car
hire
companies
based
at
the
airport.
Their
desks
are
in
the
main
building
and
pick-up
points
are
next
to
the
car
