Paloma Park is the largest public park in Benalmadena on the Costa del Sol and is an excellent, free family day out. The large lake is stocked with wild and domesticated birds including ducks and swans.
The birds love to be fed so take some bread with you.
The park is disabled friendly with wide walkways, well paved. The gardens are a pleasure, especially in Spring. The large fountain in the centre of the lake is on most of the time.
The park is located slightly uphill from the seafront. Parking is ample on most sides of the park and there's a sunny cafe near the main entrance. Whilst the park is relatively safe, take care with handbags when distracted by the birds. |
