Places in Spain - Fuengirola Bioparc (Zoo), Andalucia

Fuengirola Zoo, recently renamed the Bioparc has been established many years and is a popular attraction on the Costa del Sol. Many zoos in Europe have been modelled on Fuengirola zoo due to its unique habitat and organisation.

Fuengirola zoo has adopted the concept that the animals live side by side and one of the main aims of the zoo is to preserve the difference species.

The zoo is designed as a 'stroll through' environment for visitors where they can see the animals in almost natural surroundings.
