| The Casa Mudejar Hotel in Segovia is one of the finest three star hotels in the area. The manager and staff have worked hard to provide a quality hotel where the guests are the most important thing. The hotel is located at the top of Segovia, alongside the Plaza Mayor and two minutes from the cathedral. The Alcazar is five minutes away and the aqueduct is a ten minute walk. |
Don't be decieved by the small frontage to the hotel, behind the doors lies a large, well laid out hotel with amazing character. |

| With just 40 bedrooms, this is not a large hotel. The rooms are located on 4 floors but there is a lift. The rooms are quiet and very well furnished. You will find everything you need and if you don't then ask the English speaking staff as nothing is too much trouble. |

* New for 2010. When we arrived, the hotel was just a few days away from opening its own heath spa in the basement of the hotel. The spa is absolutely gorgeous. It is located within a 2nd century water well where you can see many of the original features. Second to the aqueduct this is one of the most important ruins in Segovia. We hope to try the facilities on our next visit. |

On Sundays, the hotel offers free guided tours of the city - 15 people maximum, leaves at 1pm. |

Restaurants and food
The restaurant is furnished in traditional style with the most amazing, original ceiling. The menu is very varied and includes many local dishes. It was relatively inexpensive and certainly in keeping with other local restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, good value and well presented. The typical Segovian menu consisted of 3 courses and was 23.50 euros. A children's menu was available for 11.95 euros. |
