exceptions.
Pensions
issued by
government
services such
as fire
service, civil
authorities,
police force
and some
teaching
positions will
only be liable
to UK tax.
In some
circumstances
Spanish taxes
can be avoided
by becoming a
Spanish
National or if
you transfer
your pension
into a private
scheme.
UK state
pensions do
not count as
government
service
pensions so
are therefore
counted as
taxable income
in Spain.

continue to
have it paid
