Foreign currency services - Consider a pre-paid debit card for your holiday in Spain
Visiting Spain on holiday and need to take Euros with you?
It's good to take Euros in cash with you on your Spanish holiday but can be unsafe, especially with large amounts. So you go to your bank or travel agency and buy Euros over the counter. Firstly, you could use an FX company to exchange your currencies and get a far better rate than the bank. Details here.
A new alternative has been designed to make this simpler and safer.
A pre-paid Euro FX debit card
You quite simply order your own personal Euro debit card and charge it with as much cash as you want. The minimum is just £20 and the maximum is £2,400. You pay in Sterling.
Whilst in Spain you simply use your card to pay for purchases. If you require more cash, you simply top up your FX card online or through your banking. |
