A
wonderful four star rural hotel, close to Palma. Based
within a 16th century manor house, this hotel was visited
by idealspain in October 2003. Here are our comments;
The
hotel is just a short drive from the little village
of Pina and occupies a very quiet location, within its
own grounds. |

The
hotel is easy to find and your stay will be a very comfortable
one. The house has been in possesion of the same family
for many generations and has been developed into a quality
hotel. Whilst all the modern facilities have been installed,
the original features of the house remain. Much of the
furnishings are also period pieces. |
The
hotel has a modern bar with a quality restaurant next
door. a wide menu is served in what was once the barn.
This gives it a unique atmosphere. The food is excelent.
Other
facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, extensive
gardens and terraces, bicycle hire, horse riding, carriage
rides, and more. Ample car parking and lots of quiet
walks in the local area. |

| The
hotel is well known for its famous horses; they are of
a pure Spanish race, Hispanic-Arabian and Hannoverian
horses. Guests can enjoy taking equitation classes with
the two riding instructors that speak perfect Spanish,
English and German. Guests can go on long horse rides
around the stunning countryside and if they like they
can have a romantic carriage ride to the neighbouring
villages. |

The
public lounges are superb, well furnished and give the
feeling of the 16th century. You can always find a peaceful
place to rest. |

The
rooms have a country feel to them yet are well equipped
with satellite TV, minibar and spacious bathrooms. Most
of the rooms have individual terraces with splendid views.

Our
opinion;
Very comfortable. Friendly, multi-lingual staff, eager
to please. First class restaurant. Quiet, tranquil setting.
