Just
a short drive from Manacor
and 45 minutes from Palma airport,
lies this rural hotel which has to be one of the best
in Mallorca and is certainly among the best that
Idealspain
have had the pleasure in reviewing. We visited the hotel
in October 2003, here are our comments;

The
hotel is a converted 17th century manor house and although
every possible luxury has been installed, the original
features of the house have been preserved. Much of the
furnishing is also period and in keeping with the feeling
of the old manor. The hotel boasts four stars and well
deserves them. |

Facilities
at the hotel include a wonderful swimming pool, quality
restaurant, outdoor bar-b-q, extensive gardens and a
private 9 hole golf course that will challenge even
the best golfers. There is golf club hire and tuition
available as well as a driving range and putting green.
Tennis courts are also available.
The
gardens also feature hammocks, sun beds and giant chess.

All
rooms have under-floor heating, air conditioning, satellite
TV, mini-bar, telephone, safe and well fitted, luxurious
bathrooms.
The
restaurant offers a wide menu at reasonable cost and
breakfast is an experience in itself. |

The
beds are very comfortable due to their hand-picked quality.
A good night's sleep is assured.
Public
lounges are plentiful, very comfortable and stocked
with period furniture and artefacts from all over the
world.
Our
opinion:
One of the very best, offering sheer luxury in a peaceful
location. Excellent facilities and very helpful, multi-lingual
staff. The golf course is an added bonus, available
for your free use during your stay. Highly recommended
by Idealspain. |
