Art events
Concerts and music festivals are staged all year round on the island but are more prominent between November and April. Palma offers a major festival of classical and light music for the Sant Sebastiá fiesta in January, a week long international organ music fair in March, a Spring opera season from March to June and summer concerts in the castle throughout July and August. There are several other major celebrations in Sóller, Pollenca and Deliá.

Bars, pubs and clubs
Every resort on the island has its fair share. You will find theme venues of every description. There are over 150 discotheques on the island many providing entertainment all night long. News about special events travels fast on the island. One of the entertainment hotspots on the island is
Magaluf.

Cinemas and shows
Many hotels offer English language videos and film screenings, as well as various shows. For the latest film listings at cinemas, look in the local press. Your hotel can also advise you of the flamenco, theme and adventure shows available on the island. Many hotels also offer special theme shows on a regular basis.

There are many museums in Mallorca; most resort has at least one and there are dozens in Palma. See a list of them here.
