You
will
find
ample
tiny
shops
in
which
to buy
the
local
handicrafts
which
include
fine
basket-ware,
linen
and
lace
as
well
as
beautiful
ceramic
wares
but
you
will
not
find
supermarkets
and
large
stores.
At the
foot
of the
village
you
will
find
new
houses
being
built
but
unusually,
they
have
been
kept
in
character
with
the
rest
of the
village
-
white
painted
and
very
square
in
design.
The
village
has a
very
European
occupancy
including
many
retired
English
people
escaping
the
chaos
of the
coast
around
Nerja.
Frigiliana
is an
ideal
day-long
escape
from
the
bustle
of the
coastal
tourism
in
Malaga,
Torrox,
Nerja,
Torre
del
Mar
and
Velez-Malaga.
All in
all a
fine
village
that
lives
up to
its
reputation.
We
enjoyed
it
immensely
and we
feel
sure
you
will
too.
Make
sure
you
visit
the
caves
of
Nerja
just a
short
drive
away
and
the
international
tourist
resort
of
Nerja |
