Currently there are three bus routes that connect Tenerife Sur Airport to the capital of the island, North Tenerife airport, Puerto de la Cruz and the beaches in the south. The bus stop for all routes are opposite the arrivals gate of the passenger terminal.

Departures from Tenerife Sur Airport
All departures including national, European Community and international comes in through the ground floor of the passenger terminal. You can access it from the taxi rank and the public bus service or from the different airport car parks. The departure hall, with an area of 10,800 square metres can handle 3,000 passengers during the rush hour.
The passengers have 87 check-in desks available. Once they have checked-in their baggage and waited for their flight being called, they must go through customs to access the departure area.
This area, located in the first floor of the terminal, has a large shopping area.
Arrivals at Tenerife Sur Airport
Passengers arriving at Tenerife Sur will leave the aircraft using one of the eight airbridges that connect directly to the terminal or by airport passenger bus. Once in the building, there are two baggage reclaim areas, each with seven baggage reclaim carousels.
